How much does a website cost in Latvia in 2026? Real price bands
Concrete price ranges by project type — from a one-pager to an online store — and exactly what moves the final number.
The honest answer to 'how much does a website cost' is a range, not a single number. Below are the price bands we actually work with in the Latvian market in 2026, and — more importantly — what decides which end of the range your project lands on.
The short answer
One-page site (landing): EUR 900–1,800. Company website (5–10 sections): EUR 2,000–4,500. Website with brand identity: EUR 4,500–8,000. Online store: EUR 4,000–12,000 depending on catalogue size and integrations.
These numbers assume a custom-designed, custom-built site — not a purchased theme dropped onto a stock template. For the full breakdown of what each tier includes, see our pricing page.
What moves the price most
1. Number of unique layouts. Not 'sections' but unique design layouts. Ten sections reusing three layouts costs less than five sections that are all different.
2. Content readiness. If copy, photography and product descriptions exist, the project moves fast. If they need to be written and shot, add 20–40% to budget and two to four weeks to the timeline.
3. Integrations. Booking, CRM, payments, accounting, inventory — each is a separate build block. These, not design, are what usually inflate ecommerce budgets.
4. Number of languages. A second language typically adds 15–25%: duplicated content, hreflang structure, translation review and double QA.
5. Brand status. With a logo, type system and colour rules in place, design starts from solid ground. Without them, identity work is its own phase.
What 'cheap' means, and why it often costs more
A EUR 300–600 quote usually means a stock theme with swapped text and photos. That can be fine if you only need a business card. But three costs tend to come back: a slow site (lost visitors), a weak SEO foundation (no structure Google can read), and no way to extend the site as the business changes. Rebuilding a year later costs more than starting correctly.
Maintenance and what comes after
Budget EUR 20–40 per month for hosting and domain on a small site, and EUR 150–400 per year for technical maintenance (updates, backups, security). If content work happens monthly, that's a retainer, not part of the build.
How to compare quotes fairly
Ask every quote for three things: the number of unique layouts, exactly what the SEO foundation includes (metadata, structured data, sitemap, speed), and who owns the final files and domain. When two quotes differ threefold, it is almost always one of those three — not 'design quality' in the abstract.
